History

Lark Hall is a historic performance arts, event and community venue located at 351 Hudson Avenue in Albany, New York. Located in the heart of Albany's Lark Street neighborhood, this 14,000 square foot building was constructed in 1916 by the Daughters of the Eastern Star as a chapter room, meeting space and performance hall.

Lark Hall has been carefully restored and equipped with state of the art sound, lighting and projection systems to host music, comedy and theatrical acts, along with private social and corporate events, fundraisers, weddings and community events. Lark Hall's main venue space provides 3,000+ square feet of open space with 21' ceilings, an historic proscenium stage, intricate mezzanine areas, and comfortable private spaces for artist's green room or bridal suite within the living quarters located above the stage. The venue includes a mezzanine level with private bar, restroom facilities and viewing gallery for concerts and shows, which is also available to rent for private parties, meetings and events.

As a multi-tenanted performance arts and community venue, Lark Hall builds on our neighborhood's longstanding arts and community-oriented culture. Carefully restored, designed, and engineered, Lark Hall provides not only an unmatched guest experience but also serves as a one-of-a-kind venue for artists to visit, perform, stay and hone their craft in a comfortable oasis from touring.
